Experience
I have been tutoring since 1997. After teaching in public and private schools, I decided to get a Masters in Special Education and go into tutoring and educational therapy full time. I started off by specializing in math and science, and now I cover most high school and a few college courses. I quickly noticed that while some students only needed help in one subject, others needed a little bit of help with everything - they needed to learn how to learn, and how to manage the demanding course load of high school.
My previous experience includes working in a biotech lab, doing plant and tree surveys for the US Forest Service, and performing and recording as a singer/songwriter.
